Our story starts with one woman, her father, their pack of labrador retrievers, and a problem to solve. Ellie the oldest of our furry trio developed tender elbow sores (also known as hygromas) from the repeated impact and subsequent pressure of laying down on hard surfaces. Given the choice of ultra-plush bedding in each of her favorite resting spots, Ellie stubbornly preferred our cool hardwood floors. We sniffed high and low for an alternative solution and came up empty-pawed so we developed our very own.
After endless dog piles and rigorous testing our first pair of Dog Knickers™ were born. In a matter of days our unique legwear was pawsitively effective in relieving Ellie’s sores and preventing new ones altogether. At first sight of their sisters knickers, Remi and Scully naturally had to have their very own pair so we created unique whimsical prints for our entire four-legged family.

Dog and Crossbone™ was founded with one goal in mind: to protect elbows and all the while look good doing it! Sometimes our family members have skin conditions that need protecting, get cold when out walking, or just simply need to look their best. No matter the reason, we are here to help you enjoy every moment spent with your best friend on your worldly adventures while melting hearts and waging tails everywhere.
